Right trek, right person
We discuss fitness, experience, age guidance and medical considerations before confirming a demanding route.
Safety & responsibility
Good leadership is knowing when to move, when to wait and when to turn around. No summit is worth ignoring the conditions in front of us.
How we think
It begins before the booking and continues through the final descent.

We discuss fitness, experience, age guidance and medical considerations before confirming a demanding route.
Packing, footwear, layering, pickup, terrain and likely conditions are shared before you leave home.
Weather, trail condition, permits and group wellbeing can change the day’s plan. Flexibility is part of safe mountain travel.
The team watches pace, hydration, acclimatisation and signs of fatigue rather than treating the route as a race.
Route teams carry a basic first-aid kit and coordinate the most practical response available for that terrain and location.
Participants must disclose relevant medical conditions, follow guide instructions and carry personal medicines and insurance where appropriate.

Responsible by default
Conditions may cause delays, route changes or cancellation. Participants remain responsible for personal fitness, accurate medical disclosure, suitable clothing and any personal medication. Travel and medical insurance are strongly recommended for remote and high-altitude journeys.
